My Very Favorite Films of the Year 2004

 PLEASE NOTE:  I draw a clear distinction between "favorite" and "best."  I feel that film is too subjective to say "these are the best films that were made this year and, hey, you're just wrong if you don't agree [sticks tongue out and/or gives finger]." 

Instead, these are films which I can pretty much say I loved every minute of them.
Me.  I did, okay?  The Topster, get it?
